logic game where every dot placement can become a
chain reaction puzzle. Capture territory, plan ahead,
and read patterns in quick local or online matches.

How to Play
- Place dots on the grid during your turn. Each cell holds a limited number of dots.
- When a cell reaches its critical mass, it explodes — sending dots to neighboring cells.
- Explosions can chain-react, capturing opponent cells and triggering further explosions.
- The last player with dots on the board wins.
The game starts simple but becomes intensely strategic. Corner cells explode with just 2 dots,
edges with 3, and center cells with 4. Mastering placement and timing is
the key to victory.
Game Modes
- Play Local — play against AI bots (easy, normal, or hard difficulty) or pass-and-play with a friend on the same device.
- Create Lobby — set up an online match and invite friends with a 6-digit code. Customize board size, number of players, and bot opponents.
- Join Lobby — enter a friend's invite code to join their game instantly.

Strategy Tips
- Control the corners — corners explode with only 2 dots, making them the most efficient cells on the board.
- Build pressure — fill cells to one below critical mass. Your opponent must react or risk a chain explosion.
- Think in chains — a single well-placed dot can trigger a cascade that captures half the board.
- Watch your edges — edge cells are your second priority after corners. They explode with 3 dots instead of 4.
About the Game
Arbifio is inspired by classic chain reaction games and
dot war strategy games. It's built as a modern web application
running on Cloudflare's edge network for low-latency gameplay worldwide. The game uses
Durable Objects for real-time multiplayer state and a Glicko-2 rating system for
competitive matchmaking.
